ASALH is proud to offer you a wonderful opportunity to become a sponsor at
the nation’s largest African American history conference in Jacksonville, FL,
October 2-6, 2013. Here is your chance to connect with more than 1,000
educators, historians, history makers, business leaders, universities and
students who convene to explore the history and culture of people of African
descent! Attendees are offered more than 100 sessions featuring prominent
figures in Black cultural studies. ASALH’s 2013 convention is the perfect
opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to diversity, and at the same
time promote scholarship that documents the life, history and culture of
the African diaspora.
There are several different sponsorship packages for your consideration, ranging from $2,000 - $50,000. Each level brings with it increased visibility and greater recognition throughout the conference. The conference program features special events that garner consumer exposure including:

The convention’s Opening Reception will be held at the historic Jacksonville Ritz Theater and Museum. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour and visit Black heritage sites of Jacksonville. There are also opportunities to meet speakers who are distinguished in Black cultural studies, or who are national political figures and leaders.
