This powerful film combines astonishing ancient biblical and historical truth with compelling
visual documentation that Black people once dominated much of the civilized world. The
unique book, Return to Glory: The Powerful Stirring of the Black Race, has received
excellent reviews from the likes of Bill Cosby, Julius Erving, Ben Carson, Tony Campolo,
Tony Evans, Donald Cole, Joe Frazier and many others.

Benjamin S. Carson, Sr., M.D., Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery, Johns Hopkins Hospital
says: “Don Griffin and Joel Freeman have courageously revealed some little-known facts
that I think are relevant to the psyche of all Americans. With the ever-rising tide of suicides
among African-American males and other societal reflections of low self-esteem, this work is
very timely and should provide all of us with pride and a desire to work together for the good
of our entire society.”

On September 19, 1915, Dr. Carter G. Woodson founded the Association for the Study of
African American Life and History (ASALH). In doing so, he initiated the vehicle that would
become the premier guardian and disseminator of the true heritage of African Americans. In
the 92 years since that beginning, through research, presentations and publications such
as The Journal of African History (formerly the Journal of Negro History) and The Black
History Bulletin (formerly The Negro History Bulletin), and the establishment of Negro History
Week, later named Black History Month, ASALH continues Dr. Woodson’s legacy. The
Prince George’s Branch of ASALH is standing on and building on this awesome legacy. The
Founding members of the group are: Honorable Dorothy F. Bailey, Dr. Shirley A. Jackson,
Mrs. Jacqueline Woody, and Mr. Allen D. Jackson.

Join us on May 4th and Return to Glory!

Sincerely,

Honorable Dorothy F. Bailey
President
