ASALH will host its 92nd Annual Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina from
October 3-7 at the Hilton Charlotte University Place.  The mission of ASALH and
the Annual Conference is to promote, research, preserve, interpret, and
disseminate information about Black life, history, and culture to the global
community.  This year's convention promises to be one of our best events ever.  

Included among the many highlights of the convention are:
  • The African American Heritage Tour of Charlotte, NC
  • The Carter G. Woodson Luncheon with Dr. John Hope Franklin
  • The 92nd Anniversary Reception for the Journal of African American History
  • The Annual ASALH Banquet honoring Dr. John Hope Franklin
