| 2007 Business Meeting |
The Annual Membership meeting will be held on Thursday,
October 4, 2007 at the Charlotte University Place Hotel from 7:00
p.m. until 9:00 p.m. All ASALH members are encouraged to
attend this meeting. The new officers and members of the
Executive Council will be introduced. Reports will be provided by
the leadership of the association. Please plan to attend. Dr. John
Fleming, National President, Presiding.

All Branch Officers and Members are requested to attend the
Branch Workshop. Please make certain that your branch is
represented. As requested at the 2006 conference, the Branch
Workshop has been moved to Wednesday, October 3, 2007
from 10:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. This is a very important session for
all members of branches and ASALH members who are
interested in forming a branch. Come to hear and exchange
information that will strengthen ASALH though our branches. Dr.
Richard T. Adams, National Vice President for Membership,
